What is a Senior Care Consultant?
Families have difficult choices today as their parents or loved one’s age and begin to need assistance. A Senior Care Consultant is a professional with experience in both health care and residential care options specifically for aging adults. They can help your family answer questions about senior care options available, as well as help you identify the best choices for both short-term and long-term support for your loved one.
What To Expect In Your Consultation
Ms. Bonaparte knows from her own family experience how difficult it can be on a family to decide how to best provide for an aging adult. While the preferred situation would be for them to reside in their own home as long as possible; at some point, they will need assistance. Bringing in a professional third-party as a Patient Advocate can ease tensions and calm fears among family members. Mrs. Bonaparte will meet one-on-one with your loved one in their home to determine their safety, mental and physical capabilities. She will also examine how they are managing any existing health conditions to identify where immediate support is needed. She will then meet with the family to review her findings and make recommendations that best suit the family’s needs.
For many Seniors remaining at home is an option, with occasional Personal or Companion Care. If it is necessary to consider a Recovery Care, Assisted Living, or Nursing Care Facility; there are many things to consider. Ms. Bonaparte has been working in the Elderly Nursing Care since 1987 and brings to your family her knowledge of what to look for in local care facilities. She can answer many of your questions and help your family find the best, loving environment that would best suit your elderly family member.
